59. BEER AND FLOWERS FESTIVAL laško

The Laško municipal courtyard will be festive on Wednesday! The day will traditionally be dedicated to all the people of Laško – those whose life journey took them away from Laško and the people living in Laško today.

Together we will reminisce, chat, meet old and new faces, and have fun. In addition to hammering a barrel, as the tradition dictates, visitors will sign the book of Laško people and receive a very special beer Laščan, which is kindly provided by the Laško Union Brewery every year. To start us off, the local Laško Brass Band will play together with the Laško Drumming Group, and the Laško Majorettes will perform a dance!

This year will also be dedicated to commemorating the 170th anniversary of spa activity in Laško, with the chamber section of the Police Orchestra performing in the cultural programme. At the end of the evening, we will be accompanied by members of the young rock band The Dune.
